Color-cooling refers to the prevalence of cool colors, especially green, on architectural and other surfaces across the archipelago. An initial survey suggests that this aesthetic preference, categorically baduy and full of character, is motivated by the colors’ perceived cooling effect. “Malamig sa mata,” some would say.
